What is Arduino?

Arduino is a tool for making computers that can sense and control more of the physical world than your desktop computer. It’s an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple microcontroller board, and a development environment for writing software for the board.

Arduino can be used to develop interactive objects, taking inputs from a variety of switches or sensors, and controlling a variety of lights, motors, and other physical outputs. Arduino projects can be stand-alone, or they can be communicate with software running on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP.) The boards can be assembled by hand or purchased preassembled; the open-source IDE can be downloaded for free.

I think there are still a lot of people that doesn’t know how to install the latest sensation in PS3 scene, Kmeaw CFW. With this custom firmware, we don’t have to buy a $50 USB dongle and getting annoyed each time you want to start your PS3 as you need to press power and eject button just to jailbreak the PS3. Those days are over now guys :)

Employees Free Choice Act

The Employee Free Choice Act is supported by a bipartisan coalition in Congress that would enable working people to bargain for better benefits, wages and working conditions by resorting workers’ freedom to choose for themselves whether to join a union (“What is the Employee Free Choice Act?”).

Additionally, the Employee Free Choice Act, also known as the EFCA, is a pending legislation in the United States, and it was authored and introduced in U.S. House of Representatives on February 5, 2007. The purpose of this legislation was to amend the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to establish an easier system to enable employees to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to provide for mandatory, and penalize employers found guilty of committing an unfair labor practice during organizing efforts and collective bargaining (“Thomas”). The Purpose of Man’s Existence

The idea of Kurt Baier’s article is to demonstrate that there is no God and no after-life. His argument states a clear contradiction with the religious ideology and the scientific views. His argument also includes that do the earthly life have a purpose, and what is the point of earthly life if there is an after-life. He also states that life is meaningless by going through many explanations  and using some dynamic examples to impose his views on the reader.

I disagree with the idea of what Kurt Baier said regarding the belief that the universe is meaningless and how he says that “in the case of many individuals, the only or the main cause of their belief is that the universe and human existence are meaningless” does not make any sense because according to Christianity they believe in human existence but their might not be an empirical method to proof the true existence of men. The Beard and the State of Taqwa

“And (we have given you clothing as) beauty. And the garment of Taqwa, that is much better” (Surah Al’Araf (7):25)

Since Allah mentioned the apparent clothing, He guided them towards inner clothing, which is Taqwa and stated that is much better than apparent beauty.

People say or order to reduce the length of your beard or shortening it more than a one-fist length due to the beard relegating the beauty of a man. Allah (SWT) mentioned that he gave us clothing as beauty, and Allah (SWT) loves beauty, so we should take care of how we dress, smell, and to comb our hair. It is also an order of Allah (SWT) to grow our beards without reducing the length. As we believe that beauty is subjective. People are created to differ. However, our goal is to reach the highest state of Taqwa, which is to Fear Allah in all circumstances, and to reach the highest limit of Iman. That is why a person should go out of his way to satisfy Allah’s commandments even if they are of the ranking of Mustahab (recommended), because who knows from that Mustahib deed Allah (SWT) might grant you mercy. Also to magnify the importance of mercy, even the Prophet PBUH will not enter heaven without the mercy of Allah (SWT).

Since Allah (SWT) ordered us to grow the beard and shorten the mustache, even if beauty is subjective, our main goal is to satisfy Him, not anyone of his creation. If a person shortens it to satisfy his parents or authority due to being scared from them, that person has to recheck his creed (Aqeeda) because no one should be obeyed if the commandments of Allah are being breached. May Allah (SWT) grant us the power to obey his commandment’s to the fullest, Ameen!.

Repentence

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, The most Gracious, The most Merciful
إن الحمد لله نحمدُهُ ونستعينهُ و نستغفرهُ، ونعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسِنا و من سيئاتِ أعمالنا من يهده اللهُ فلا مضل له، ومن يضلل فلا هاديَ له. و أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له. وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسولهُ، صلى الله عليه و على اله وصحبه وسلم

All Praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah, Most High, from the evils of our own selves and from our wicked deeds. Whomever Allah guides cannot be misguided, and whomever He leads astray cannot be guided. I testify that there is no true God worthy of being worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner or associate. I further testify that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger (PBUH). May Allah’s salaah and salaam also be granted to the Prophet’s pure family and to all of his noble companions.

Repentance
What is repentance? Tawbah is the return of the servant to Allah. Repentance is a process where a person believes sincerely what he has committed is a sin against the commandments of Allah (SWT), he broke those commandments. Why should we repent to Allah (SWT)? To answer this question, we will need to elaborate on some other aspects first. The servant who seeks the pleasure of Allah never abandons tawbah. He remains in the state of tawbah until his death. Whatever his state of belief (Iman) is, the servant makes tawbah his constant companion. iTunes bricked Windows 7!!!

I woke up this morning installing the latest Windows 7 updates that came out on 07/14/2010. It requested a reboot, so I decided I will reboot. After rebooting, my sound, web cam, USB drivers or basically any peripheral on my motherboard stopped working.

I decided to go to Device Manager and to diagnose the problem. Here is a print screen of what I saw:

I was shocked upon seeing all of my system drivers trouble starting, and each one had a different code of error. After disabling my Ethernet driver, I scanned for hardware changes and it detected my driver successfully. I performed the same action for all of the problematic drivers, and it worked flawlessly. Then I decided to reboot my computer, but guess what, same thing reoccurred.

Then I tried Goggling the issue and see if anyone had a similar problem. Luckily I was able to find this issue in one forum, Windows SevenForums. The person had the exact same issue, and imagine what the solution was, it was to uninstall iTunes.

I recalled that I installed iTunes and couple of other Apple, INC. software the night before Windows update. For some reason I blamed windows update for causing this mischief.

So if anyone ever confronts this problem, the method of fixing is just to uninstall iTunes, how unfortunate.

The main culprit according to some forums is the Bonjour service that is installed with Apple, INC. software. Windows 7 has been having issues since day one with that service.

Is Sunnah Preserved from Fabrication?

As Salam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon his Messenger.

In the 21st century, many Muslims diverted from the real teachings of the Quran and the Prophets Sunnah. They are called the secular Muslims. They believe that the Sunnah (hadith) narrations are fabricated and no such chain of narrations can truly exist. Their argument goes by saying “How is it possible for a tradition to exist in words that was narrated after the Prophet’s (PBUH) life? The narrators of Hadith might have misspoken the Hadith to their students or equivocate it.”

Firstly, we need to understand as to why Hadith exists. Isn’t Quran sufficient as a divine book that teaches us how to live our daily lives?

“Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) desire. (3) It is no less than inspiration sent down to him. (4)” Quran (53:3-4)

This verse states that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) does not speak whatever he wills, instead, a straight revelation is sent down to him from Allah (SWT). Here are some incidents from the Quran that proves that the Quran was the literal word of Allah (SWT) and not the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The Meaning of Life

Are we living a dream? Is human life just a mere existence with a meaningless goal? Does life truly have a meaning? Understanding life is a process every human goes through every day. But many people do not contemplate on that aspect. It is difficult to understand life and it is not easy to interpret life. Riehard Taylor draws a refined picture of the meaning of life by elaborating on the ancient myth of Sisyphus. Sisyphus was a son of a king, who promoted navigation and commerce, but he violated the laws of hospitality by killing travelers and guests. As a punishment from God for his trickery, Sisyphus was made to roll a huge rock up a steep hill, but before he could reach the top of the hill, the rock would always roll back down, forcing him to roll it up again in an infinite loop. This picture isa perfect example for Taylor of a meaningless toil because it is a never-ending accomplishment. Accordingly, it makes the life of Sisyphus meaningless because nothing is being accomplished from what he is doing. His life is dedicated to a repetitive, useless activity.
